MSD NHRA Contingency Awards Program 2008

El Paso, Texas - MSD Ignition will post $212,000 as an NHRA major sponsor for the 2008 season. MSD contingency funds will be available to each NHRA National Event winner using an MSD Billet Distributor / or a Pro Mag system* or systems and MSD Super Conductor Spark Conductor Spark Plug Wires.

Winners in Top Fuel, Funny Car will be eligible for $500.00 for Pro Mag system* or systems*. Pro Stock will be eligible for $500.00 for each product (MSD Billet Distributor and or a Pro Mag system* or systems* and MSD Super Conductor Spark Plug Wires). Winners in Federal Mogul Dragster, Federal Mogul Funny Car, Competition, Super Gas, Super Comp, Super Stock, Super Street, and Stock are eligible for $300.00 for each product (MSD Billet Distributor and / or a Pro Mag system* or systems* and MSD Super Conductor Spark Plug Wires). Winners in Pro Stock Motorcycle are also eligible for $250.00 and all Runners-ups in all classes are eligible $100.00.

To be eligible for the share of the MSD contingency money, competitors must use an MSD Billet Distributor and / or a Pro Mag system* or systems* and or MSD Super Conductor Spark Plug Wires. Competitors must display the proper MSD Contingency Decals (MSD Billet Distributor, MSD Pro Mag* and or MSD Super Conductor) or Painted-On logos. Paint-On Logos must be exact duplicates of MSD Contingency Decals (in size 4" x 9", colors and lettering style) to be eligible for contingency money. Logos samples are available from MSD upon request. MSD Decals or Paint-On logos must be displayed on both sides of the racecar through the entire event (STACKING decals is prohibited).
