Just like topic says i need to know what system that i will need for an 96 Ford Ranger with 3.0 v6 and it has 1 coil pack.
We are running nitrous through system, and are going to supercharge it in spring. I was also wanting to know if you
have wires for this truck also.

Thanks

Sir,

the part number on the ignition box is 6215 which is our DIS 4. You will also require an adapter part number 8912 to make it function on the Ford applications. The retard for the DIS unit is part number 6562. This is a fully programmable unit that will allow you to not only retard for nitrous but retard under boost also. You can download the actual software for this unit for free off of our web page. Unfortunately we do not have a wire set for the distributorless 3.0 at this time. These are available through one of our dealers listed on our web page.

thanks,

I was reading the info about the DIS-4 box and it says that it is for 6 to 8 cyl with 3 or 4 coil packs.
This ranger has only 1 COIL pack. I am wantitng to order the box but just wanted to make sure. that
this will work out right for truck.

Thanks

Yes it has 1 coil pack, but it has 3 channels, which is 3 coils packs built into 1 big one. The Dis-4 is the appropriate unit for your application, but will require 2 of the PN 8912 adapters.
