Early model Honda distributors are getting tougher to find, and when you do, chances are that they’re pretty worn out. Many times, and during engine swaps, it’s better to go with the later model distributor, which also has a larger bearing and is a better piece in general. The problem that you run into is that the late models are set up for OBD II regulations.
