RIDE OF THE MONTH
 

This gorgeous Genuine Shelby American 427 Cobra, CSX4083, was built by Alan J Sorkey MD of Shreveport, LA. The Cammer Cobra's motor is a New Old Stock Ford 427 SOHC "Cammer", serial number 589 of about 1000 built in the early 60's.  This motor dyno'd at 629HP in 1967, that was with a single Holley 560cfm 4 barrel carb.  Sorkey had the custom Weber manifold made to use the 4 Weber setup.  Ignition, is, of course, a MSD 6AL setup with Pro-Billet MSD Ford FE distributor and he just installed the new black MSD 8.5mm Super Conductor spark plug wires from the universal Hemi set.
